Museum of the Bible: First Six Months

Approximately 565,000 people have visited the 430,000-square-foot Museum of the Bible since its opening to the public November 18, 2017. According to post-visit surveys, more than 90 percent of guests have rated their experience at the museum as excellent or good, with eight in 10 registering they would recommend Museum of the Bible to a friend or family member.

In addition, the museum is celebrating 251,310 people who participated in the Hebrew Bible walk-through.

This June, Hebrew University will host an exhibit at the museum, exploring the story of the Romans and the Jewish people in the first century.

In July, two exhibits will open: Sacred Drama: Performing the Bible in Renaissance Florence and Noblewomen and the Bible: Seven Stories from the House of Stolberg. August marks the beginning of the Museum of the Bible-sponsored exhibit: Pilgrim Preacher: Billy Graham, the Bible and the Challenges of the Modern World.

Museum of the Bible is an innovative, global, educational institution whose purpose is to invite all people to engage with the history, narrative, and impact of the Bible. Admission to the museum is free with a suggested donation of $15 per person. A fly-through of the museum is viewable here.
